Enrolment Procedure - Membership Application Form

According to the Article 5 of the Memorandum of the Society, individuals whose qualifications and characteristics fall within the society aims and goals, may be enrolled as members of the Society.

Full Members

A new member should submit his/her application to the Board of Directors. The conditions for the enrolment of a Full Member are the following:

• A degree of Higher Education in the Human Sciences, Psychology, Pedagogy or Education.
• Significant contribution of the University graduates or the non-University graduates  in research activities, applications or general promotion of the aims of the Society, e.g. scientists and researchers involved in scientific fields other than the ones mentioned above and parents who are sensitive to issues related to the Creative, Gifted and Talented children’s and adolescents’ education. In all cases the candidacy should be submitted by two Full Members of the Society and be approved by the Board of Directors.

Extra Members

A new member should submit his/her application to the Board of Directors. The status of an extra member is awarded, once the candidacy is submitted to the Board of Directors by two Full Members and is approved by the Board of Directors. The Extra-Members have the right to speak in the General Assemblies of the Society but they don’t have the right to vote or be elected in the Board of Directors and the Society committees. It is evident that an Extra-Member may become a Full Member in case he/she fulfills the abovementioned requirements subject to the decision of the Board of Directors.

Honorary Members

The status of a honorary member is awarded to Greek and foreign scientists whose contribution to the research on giftedness has been recognized as extremely significant. The status is awarded by the General Assembly of the Society according to the proposal of the Board of Directors.

You are kindly requested to fill in the application form, originally signed by you and two members of the Society, who propose your candidacy. Then send it to the following postal address of the Society, attaching your detailed curriculum vitae.
